The weekends are finally here. (Although it’s not today but well tomorrow).
To be honest, I’m quite tired of typing emails, typing quotations and editing quotations. Not only that. There’s the standing up and greeting clients, or whoever walks through that front door, and then having to know what to do and serve drinks. Then there’s facing handwriting I find so hard to decipher.
I more or less know the pattern at work already. Mondays are usually hectic, and usually the next few days are quite easy to handle. Then when Friday comes along it gets busy but at least not hectic.
I eventually got to learn to handle urgent documents more calmly as I’m much more confident when I do my work now. It gets repetitive after a while and I know what kind of careless mistakes I make and therefore can look out for them easily. I can tell that my boss appreciates that I can do his documents fast and I appreciate that too. But then again I don’t know if I’m overworking. On Mondays it feels so. The rest of the days, as much as I can, I try to take it easy.
The week seemed to have dragged by so I’m just glad the weekends are here and I don’t have to wake up thinking about work. No work on Saturdays always always feels good. I’ve more time in my hands. Now I just really hope the weekends last longer than they are meant to.
